Photo #3 Pumpkins


I thought since it is almost Halloween, I needed a pumpkin picture on my blog.  I shot this one at the pumpkin patch here in Corona California.  I used bounce flash off of the top of the tent.  I had on my Nikkor 18-135 lens exp 1/25 at f 5.6 Flash on manual 1/4 power.

  1. On this one I like the saturation of the colors, which brings out the theme. Also the framing and composition is fantastic making the branch look like a ghostly witch hand trying to reach the pumpkin (at least looks like that to me) which, once again, is relevant to the theme.
    Thank you for sharing, specially since you not only post the photo but how it was made thus helping others (like me) to develop and improve their skills as well.
